Moorings
Youngboats has over 70 individual pontoon berths for craft up to 30 foot LOA, in the pleasant quiet setting at the head of Oare Creek. They are almost all finger berths, with spaces for visitors.
Boat Park
We have some space ashore for winter lay-up of boats. There is no extra cost (other than cranage charges) to owners renting a berth.
Lift Out
A mobile crane is on-site to lift boats up to 3 tons displacement, and other work such as stepping masts, lifting engines etc.
Charges inclusive of VAT
Mooring/storage charges (min 3 months) £5.00 metre per week
Temporary mooring/storage charges (less than 3 months) £5.60 metre per week
Visitor mooring charges £15.00 per night
Cranage charges to lift out £24.00 per metre
Cranage charges to lift in £24.00 per metre
Misc. cranage charges £95.00 per hour
We do not charge extra for the storage of customers’ dinghies and trailers; however, we do ask that any dinghy or trailer is clearly marked with your name or the name of your boat. Unidentified items will be disposed of.
All the berths dry out, with access to the Creek around 1½ hours each side of high water.
All the berths have access to water and electricity (with tokens purchased from the office and are in a secure compound surrounded by high fencing with lockable gates.
Space is available ashore within the compounds for winter lay-up at no extra cost, (other than cranage), to owners renting a berth.
